Ivari Rannama joined the Tallinn Urban Planning Department on March 2006. First as leading geoinformation specialist and now he has lead the Geomatics Service as a Director over 5 years.
The main responsibilities of the Geomatics Service are land management, addressing, geodetic surveys, topographic mapping, cartography, geoinformation systems and development of Urban Planning Department registers.
Resent years Ivari Rannama has participated in developing process of digital services of Tallinn Planning Register and Tallinn Spatial Data Register. Ivari Rannama has taken part in many international projects and programs on developing e-services. Recent international co-operation project is Baltic Urban Lab and one of the results is mobile application AvaLinn for co-creative planning.
Ivari Rannama is a member and former boad member of Estonian Geoinformatics Society (ESTGIS).
